SELF-PORTRAIT

This is a piece of digital collage I made almost 2 years ago. I don't know if I still myself like this now but still that's a little bit of me. By the way, I like Tinkerbell, the little mean fairy! She's real and classy at the same time!

PLACES I HAVE HAD IDEAS IN

One of my inspirational source was my room back in Melbourne which I shared with my cousin in 10 month time. It was my first time painting and decorating the whole room myself. And yes, it was a huge room too! A huge red box with books laying on the floor and the London bus as my teenage dream on the wall and a lovely classy balcony. I think I got it all. But yea, I gave up my little heaven as moving to Kingston. I don't regret though. Everything happens for a reason. One day, I will get myself another red box, or I might just hate red tomorrow, you never know. You just have to give up in order to give in.

FACT ABOUT ME: I'M OBSESSED WITH THE SKY

I love the blue sky, white clouds and big wind. I enjoy looking at the sky so much. People think it's weird cause for them, the sky is just the sky. It's there and always there. But for me, it's more than just that. I could put my dreams into the clouds and send it to somewhere above where someone could hear my voice. I could let myself free and float away with the clouds and blow away with the wind. Everywhere I go, I see the beauty of the sky. Currently I have a collection of photos of the sky in different places I've been to.

TYPE THE SKY by LISA RIENERMANN

Lisa is a German graphic designer. This typography that she created was a project she did during her study in Spain. She first started with letter Q as an coincidence. She looked up the sky and took the photo and the more she looked at it, the more it looked like a Q for her. And then she started going around and collect photos that create letters.

INTERIORS by ANDREW BYROM

I'm actually quite interested in interiors. One thing in my wishlist is to open my own shops (could be coffee shop or a fashion boutique) so I could decorate the space by myself. That's why when I saw this typo in The 3D Type book, I fell in love immediately. I would love to buy some pieces from the collection, attach a piece of glass or wood in order to make it more useable.

'PHOTOGRAPHER': SEN MITSUJI

Sen is actually a model who is Australian/Japanese. He grew up in Sydney and now spreading his name and also his walk all over the world. For most of people, they like him as a good-looking model. Differently, I see him as a cool blogger and a passionate photographer. Everytime I go to his blog, I find myself enjoying his visual diary so much. He doesn't say that much word but he expresses himself through photos and moment. For me, photograph successes when it re-creates the moment itself.

ANOTHER FACT ABOUT ME: I have a niece!

You might be thinking what is so big about having a niece. Well, for me, it means quite lot.
The day I knew that my sister was pregnant, I was a bit scared. I don't know. I wasn't used to it. There was something not exactly right.
But as soon as I saw her, I realized how much love I got to give her. She is my little princess. She is my 'daughter'. I get hurt when she falls. I'm in pain when she cries.
What I get from having her in my life is responsibility. I have to live my life as I wish she would live her life. I have to think twice cause I don't want her to ever make the same mistakes that I did. Everything I do today, I have to consider carefully so someday I can be proud enough to teach her a little more or less about the wonderful world we're living in.
For a moment, I feel like a mother.
Thank Kem for being there cause when you smile, I smile too.

INSPIRING MOMENT: TAKING PHOTOS OF PEOPLE

One of my hobbies is taking photos. I just need to pick up the camera, go out and shoot! For me, it's more than just enjoyment. I feeling like I could take photos with my own eyes. I don't want to lose pretty moments in my life and I want to remember every single lovely thing I've ever have a chance to see.

FAVOURITE DESIGNER: BARBARA BUI

Barbara Bui is a French/Vietnamese fashion designer based in Paris but her designs and retailers spreading all over the world, especially in big fashion cities, like New York, Milan and so much more. I'm interested in her designs as they're all classy and chic at the same time. And for one more thing, as she shares the same surname with me, I just love her more.
